ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Patryk Tylski. I am a chartered physiotherapist since 2010 graduated in Poland. Since 2016, I have been working in Ireland. I treat mainly MSK (musculoskeletal) and sports injuries with special interest in tendon pain/injuries (among others: “tennis/golfers elbow”, “plantar fasciitis”, “jumper’s knee”, and Achilles pain/injuries”, "rotator cuff" tendinopathy).
I have been very active all my life doing many different sports like: soccer, running, lifting weights, swimming etc. Over that time, I experienced many diverse injuries. Because of that, I know the injury from the “patient’s perspective” as well. My treatments are based on evidence medicine (EBM) what is a key in health care service. To improve my skills, constantly follow new research and participate in dedicated courses.
PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT LIST
Each appointment costs €60 with no additional charges for specific treatment.
Diagnostic ultrasound (POCUS)
Point of care ultrasound is being utilized by clinicians working in musculoskeletal and sports medicine in both the diagnostic and management of MSK conditions. It has often been referred to as an ‘extension of the clinical assessment’ and can add a highly rich layer of information and understanding for the clinician and patient and can impact positively on the patient’s pathway and their care.
Shock wave therapy
Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is the transcutaneous application of high-energy acoustic waves to break down tissue or to promote healing and repair.
EPTE® - Percutaneous electrolysis
This therapy is a new technique used to treat various skeletal muscle dysfunctions. It is mainly used to treat tendinopathies, though not exclusively. During EPTE treatment, a thin needle is accurately inserted into the tissue under ultrasound guidance. After this, electricity is returned via the needle to the core of the problem area. The mild form of electricity can initiate multiple processes that improve tissue repair.
Neuromodulation
NMP® is neuromodulation technique that allows health professionals to work directly on the dysfunctional peripheral nervous system, helping to reduce pain in the short term. This minimally invasive technique is performed percutaneously under ultrasound guidance, by introducing acupuncture or dry puncture needles in the vicinity of the peripheral nerve and applying a low- intensity electric current.
Manual therapy (MT)
This treatment is a passive, skilled movement applied by clinicians that directly or indirectly targets a variety of anatomical structures or systems, which is utilized with the intent to create beneficial changes in some aspect of the patient's pain experience.
Dry needling
Dry needling is a technique used by a physiotherapist to help reduce pain and /or muscle spasm. It accelerates the recovery of injuries to muscles, tendons and fascia. Dry needling also helps to improve blood circulation, thereby accelerating the healing process.
Exercises program
Exercises program on site or as home exercise program - individualized plan for each patient to provide most efficient therapy.
